Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie is reflected in her lengthy career as an actress and performer. Modeling began in the 70s. Soon, she became one of the best models. From the 80s onwards, she attended acting classes, and was a theater student prior to performing on theater stage of Los Angeles. in 1987 Russo portrayed Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. Then, two years ago she portrayed Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Her consistency has won over the critics, who initially were unsure about her abilities as an actor. Rose Namajunas ranks among the best UFC female fighters. Her career began as an amateur fighter, competing in various regional promotions before registering to Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of fame since joining the UFC due to both her inside and outside the octagon success. Namajunas is born June 29, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian Immigrant family. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball while growing up. She made her debut professionally when she was 18 for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she was able to win two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at the age of 22, she signed her for a fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has been through the highs and lows of her career. However, she's always won. Rose fought Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in under three minutes the round One. Rose was also awarded Fighter Of The Night and was a pioneer in the sport as it marked the first time a women had ever competed on a level of championships with a major promoter across the globe. Namajunas won several fights following this fight and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
